Sentinel Technology Co., Ltd. (www.coolcheck.co.kr, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users’ personal information and rights and to ensure the prompt and smooth handling of related grievances. In the event of any revision to this Privacy Policy, the Company will provide notice on the main page of its website and clearly indicate the effective date at the beginning of this Policy.
○ This Privacy Policy shall take effect on November 7, 2025.

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes and does not use such information for any purpose other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, prior consent will be obtained in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Retention and Processing Period of Personal Information

b. Informational and promotional newsletter database: Retained for three (3) years after the purpose has been achieved, and then destroyed

Users may exercise the following rights as data subjects at any time:

5. Categories of Personal Information Processed
The Company processes the following categories of personal information:
① Required items: Mobile phone number, name, email address, company name, company phone number, IP address
② Methods of collection: Written forms, telephone/fax, email inquiries
③ Legal basis: Consent obtained at the time of collection
④ Retention period: Destroyed promptly upon the customer’s request

6. Destruction of Personal Information
In principle, personal information is destroyed without undue delay once the purpose of processing has been achieved. The procedures and methods of destruction are as follows:
① Destruction procedure
Paper documents are shredded using a company-owned shredder.
Electronic data is permanently deleted in an unrecoverable manner using CCD, a complete deletion and encryption solution.
② Destruction period
Personal information is destroyed within five (5) days from the expiration of the retention period or within five (5) days from the date it is deemed unnecessary due to achievement of the processing purpose, service termination, or business closure.

7. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company implements technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure the security of personal information, including the following:
① Minimization and training of personnel handling personal information
② Regular internal audits (conducted quarterly)
③ Establishment and implementation of internal management plans
④ Encryption of personal information
⑤ Technical safeguards against hacking and computer viruses
⑥ Restriction of access to personal information
⑦ Retention and prevention of falsification or alteration of access records

8. Notification and Reporting Procedures in the Event of a Personal Information Breach
If a personal information breach is recognized, the Company will promptly notify the affected data subjects and report the matter to the Personal Information Protection Commission in accordance with applicable laws. Such notification will include the categories of personal information involved, the time and circumstances of the breach, possible measures that users may take, and the Company’s response and remedial actions.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated above. Any additions, deletions, or amendments resulting from changes in laws or internal policies will be announced at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date.
